ECS LIVA Core Mini-PC Review

Physical Teardown

Once you attempt to remove the screws from within the rubber feet shown on the previous page, you'll find that they stay attached and allow the bottom to fall out - no need to go searching for a lost screw that fell off your table. With the ECS LIVA Core open, the Intel-branded SSD is readily accessible. No more having to completely disassemble the unit in order to get to the drive as in past ECS LIVA mini-PCs.

You could try to remove the top, but I do not recommend it. There are multiple wires attached, and there is not much to really see since the LIVA Core's ports and heatsink cover most of the PCB. You can also damage the power button while trying to get the board out, so it is best to just leave it alone and not worry about it.
