EIZO FlexScan EV3240X Review - It Means Business

The Package

EIZO dedicated an entire segment of the FlexScan EV3240X's product page to its packaging, so allow me to quote it: "For the packaging of the EV3240X, EIZO uses a padding made of molded pulp cellulose. The material is made from recycled cardboard and paper and has a much lower environmental impact when disposed of than traditional polystyrene or plastic. All cables are stored in a cardboard compartment instead of being individually packed in plastic bags." From a purely user perspective, the packaging looks quite unattractive, but its environmental aspect is commendable.

If you order four of these monitors for your office, you'll get them shipped in a single specially made box, further reducing the environmental impact and making the monitors easier to install, as you won't have to tackle four separate boxes.

Inside the box you'll only find a single 1.5-meter USB-C cable and a 2-meter power cord for the integrated power supply. No other video cables are supplied; should you want to use DisplayPort or HDMI inputs, you'll have to obtain the appropriate cables yourself.
