The EK Water Blocks EK Supreme is an excellently designed and well built waterblock that can be applied to many different CPU types. The performance numbers were the best seen so far, edging out the competition by three or four degrees. For all the modders out there, the acrylic version reviewed here today can be lit up with two 3mm LEDs of your choice. Adding some UV LEDs and UV additives to the coolant could produce some attractive results.

The only real complaint I have of the EK supreme is that the springs are so stiff they can easily cause the motherboard to warp if too much tension is applied. However, this bowing can be corrected by the optional LGA775 backplate. If EK replaces the current M4 screws with some slightly longer ones, installation with the backplate should become much easier.

Overall I found the EK Supreme to be worthy of its name, and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting the most performance they can get out of watercooling their CPU.
