Endgame Gear XM1 RGB Review

Packaging

The packaging is the same as for the XM1 and XM1 White. The mouse sits nicely cushioned within a foam mold, along with a quick start guide.

Weight

My scale shows around 83 g (+/- 1 g), which is essentially in line with the 82 g cited by Endgame Gear. Compared to the 70 g XM1, the weight added by the inclusion of RGB lighting is rather substantial. While no longer in the "ultra-light" category, the XM1 RGB is still fairly light.

Cable

The XM1 RGB features a paracord-like, braided cable. In terms of flexibility, it's probably the best stock cable currently on the market, with the runner-up being the cable of the Cooler Master MM711. Its measured length is 1.85 m. The cable has an attached ferrite bead, which helps reduce signal noise.

Feet

The feet on the XM1 RGB are white-dyed 99.5% PTFE (Teflon) feet. They are considerably thick and come with slightly rounded edges. Glide is excellent. 100% PTFE skates are separately available from Endgame Gear directly, as well as German retailer Caseking.
