Endgame Gear XM1 RGB Review

Shape

No changes have been made to the shape of the XM1 RGB. It's still a quintessential claw-grip shape, with the wide back and rear-positioned hump giving the back of the palm ample space to rest on. Meanwhile, the front sits very low, and although it's a fairly wide design, the middle area is notably narrower than the front and back. The curvature of the sides is highly reminiscent of the SteelSeries Sensei, which comes as no surprise as the Sensei and XM1 share the same designer. Much like the Sensei, the XM1 lacks any sort of aggressive curves that would otherwise restrict finger placement.

As for grip styles, I'd say the XM1 RGB is mostly suited for claw grip. It's a medium-sized mouse with a fairly pronounced hump, which should make it suitable for most hand sizes. For reference, my hands are 19 cm long and 10 cm wide, and I found the XM1 RGB very comfortable in claw grip.

This table includes the dimensions of the Endgame Gear XM1 RGB and several other ambidextrous mice. "Front height" denotes the distance between the base and main buttons. Measurements with two decimals have been taken with a caliper, while those with one decimal have been taken with a ruler.
