EVGA not only managed to enter the PSU market strong, but their PSU products have already established themselves. EVGA is, for starters, the only company so far to offer a hefty ten year warranty with their high-end PSU offerings, which shows how much they believe in them. They also teamed up with one of the most promising PSU OEMs today, Super Flower, to offer PSUs that trump the competition in terms of price/performance. The P2-1000 unit may not seem worth an additional 30 bucks when compared to the G2 based on the same platform but with Gold efficiency, yet the P2-1000 has a little higher efficiency, Japanese caps on the modular AND main PCB, and a tad better performance. It even features an optional semi-passive operation, which grants it with a quieter operation. If you are sensitive to noise, you had better go for the P2-1000 because it is dead silent at low loads, though you might as well save 30 bucks if you don't have Superman's hearing and don't mind the lack of a passive operation in the G2. The P2-1000 is priced very reasonably for its features, and while its 5VSB rail could do with some improvements, all its other cutting edge circuits deliver impressive performance.

To wrap up, the EVGA P2-1000 should be your first choice if you want to buy a high-end PSU at a really good price and cherish ten worry-free years. It packs extreme performance, a quiet operation, and excellent build quality, and is fully modular. I can't imagine of what else to ask for! It is now time for the competition to follow suit by offering a ten year warranty with their high-end products!
