Packaging and Accessories

Packaging for the FL Esports OG98 is fairly spartan, with a bare cardboard box that has black and white printing directly on it as opposed to using a decorative banderole. On the front is the brand logo and product name along with salient features and a partial render of the keyboard, with the large OG letters confirming this is part of the brand's OG keyboard series. More of the same is seen on the back too, albeit now we get a complete keyboard render and contact information for FL Esports too. A sticker on the side confirms the exact SKU you have, which will be more relevant if the global store stocks other versions too. A double flap helps keep the contents in place on their way to you, and opening the box we see the keyboard inside a thin foam wrap with a paper sheet on top of the keycaps and a hard plastic dust cover above for added protection.

The various accessories are seen in separate compartments to the top, and FL Esports provides a multi-language user manual (online version here, albeit low resolution) going over the various pre-programmed functions on the keyboard, a warranty card, as well as some replacement keycaps—I like the retro style keycaps with the cutout and a clear lens on the front for indicator lights. We also get the expected USB Type-C to Type-A cable for connectivity and charging the internal battery, in addition to a combination metal wire-style keycap puller and switch remover tool.
