Fractal Design Focus 2 RGB Review

Packaging

Much like the brand new Fractal Design Pop series, the Focus 2 ships in a plain cardboard box with an image of the chassis in the front and a blow up diagram with a bit of marketing on the back. Both side panels of the cardboard package only sport the Fractal Design logo and a sticker to let you know which variant you will be receiving.

The chassis is held in place by two foam spacers on the front and back, while a plastic bag keeps scratches and fingerprints away. Fractal has taped the manual and some accessories to the exterior of that bag, which is a bit out of the ordinary.

Contents

You will get a few zip ties, six rubber rings for hard drive mounting (with two additional ones already pre-installed within the chassis) and an assortment of screws. There is also a magnetic metal mesh dust filter which is meant to be placed on the top of the enclosure. Lastly, a well written manual can also be found as part of the standard accessories for the case itself.

On top of that, Fractal includes a set of brackets to offset radiators in the ceiling of the chassis as far away from the motherboard as possible. This is not an optional accessory, but instead ships with all these Focus 2 enclosures.
