Packaging
The Fractal Design Torrent Compact ships in a brown cardboard box with an outline image of the chassis on front. Turning the box over, you will find a blow-up diagram of the unit along with a few marketing points in multiple languages. Both sides of the box hold very little additional information, with a sticker to let you know which version you will be receiving.
For added effect during unboxing, the Fractal logo has also been put on the inside of the cardboard box, and the Torrent Compact is firmly sandwiched between two Styrofoam spacers. A foam bag keeps away scratches and fingerprints.
Contents
You will get a sorted set of black screws along with a microfibre cloth and plenty of black zip ties. A well-written manual that takes you through the assembly steps and features of the case is included as well.
On top of that, Fractal Design includes brackets so that you may replace the default 180 mm fan in front with two 120 or 140 mm ones. Last but not least, you will find a metal GPU support bracket.
