The fan-speed profile is not aggressive at high operating temperatures. The main PCB, being large and not overly crowded, allows for better airflow because of the good distance between installed parts.
Noise and Fan Speed (~30 °C)
The semi-passive operating lasts for quite a while for a 1200 W PSU. With the fan operating at 30–35 dBA with loads above 1050 W, you can't characterize this unit as noisy. On the contrary, it is silent throughout most of its operating range.
