Comparison

Most of you will be asking the same question: "which Func pad is for me?".
Well that's one of the hardest questions to answer because we all have a unique taste in mouse mats and what we like/dislike about them.

This is my little buying guide for Func mats:

As you can see from the picture above, the Func pads come in almost every size, right from the small surface1030 to the extra large F30.R.

If you are a low-sensitivity gamer, then the surface1030 is definitively not for you. It is simply too small, even for twitchy movement at low sensitivity.
If you use a medium to high sensitivity, the surface1030 and 1030 Archetype are probably the best mats out there. These mats are among the best on the market, on par with the QPAD|XT-R. So if you have been considering the QPAD|XT-R then you should also have a look at the Func 1030 Archetype, which has a sleek black look and a really nice design plus you get the choice of surface grain.

If you are a low sensitivity gamer and like a mat with extremely low friction, you should consider the F30.R series. I can recommend the large and extra large sized F30.Rs for low sensitivity gaming. I really like the surface texture, it's rough enough so that the friction is really low but still smooth enough so that you don't feel the rumble when you make quick turns.
