Initial Setup

I must confess that my test system really didn't live up to the glamorous nature of this kit. The G.SKILL Trident Z Royal still looked stunning, and I had a lot of fun getting some really cool trick shots of the ASRock Z390 Taichi reflected in the heat spreader.

The light bar on the G.SKILL Trident Z Royal is the best I have seen so far, with crisp clean effects and an unrivaled clarity and brightness. Once again, my photography skills are really falling short of the mesmerizing reality this kit achieves.

Running this kit at its rated speed was as simple as enabling XMP. The G.SKILL Trident Z Royal had no stability issues at all during my testing.

Thaiphoon shows that these are Samsung ICs, which is no big surprise given the performance offered.
