Packaging

Eye-catching is a good descriptor of the Chione M3 240W's packaging. The full-color box uses a bright silver front to display the all-in-one liquid cooler, with its ARGB lighting on display. Support for ASUS, MSI, Gigabyte, ASRock, and Biostar motherboard ARGB software is exclaimed on the front. Moving to the left side, we find a vibrant yellow panel with another image of the cooler and the various motherboard vendor's ARGB software packages it will work with. Details are found on the back side, with a quick list of features and specification tables.

The right side is the same as the left, but it uses a black panel, allowing the Gamdias Chione M3 240W's white design to pop. Finally, the top panel lists the product name and has the company logo in black and yellow.

The interior packaging is par the course for what can be expected with all-in-one liquid coolers. A cardboard tray keeps the radiator, pump, fans, and accessories neatly organized, with a space between the unit and the outer box for absorbing minor bumps.

The cooler supports all current, and most past mainstream sockets, including Intel's LGA115x, LGA1200, and LGA1700. Meanwhile, on the AMD side, Gamdias supports everything as far back as AM2 and FM1, which is quite a surprise, along with socket TR4. Suffice it to say socket support on the Chione M3 240W is extensive, making it a potentially good option for those building retro rigs or looking to upgrade cooling on an older but capable system.
