Introduction
In the review of the
GAMDIAS HERMES M5 I had teased that the company had sent along a second keyboard at their recommendation, and it is time to take a look at it now. The HERMES M5 is a full-size keyboard that adopts a two-tone color scheme and single color for backlighting, as well as GAMDIAS-branded switches and stabilizers that unfortunately miss the mark for me. Let's see if this keyboard fares better, and thanks again to GAMDIAS for sending a review sample to TechPowerUp!
Did you think we were done with the 60% keyboard flood of 2021? GAMDIAS clearly had other ideas. As the image above shows, the HERMES E3 is a 60% form factor keyboard that comes with RGB backlighting and two color options of white or black. I have the black version here, which is why I chose to show the white HERMES E3 above. More 60% keyboards from major brands have been released this year than ever before, so GAMDIAS has some tough competition. We begin the review which will show how it holds up with a look at the specifications in the table below.
