Assembly

Installing the motherboard and GPU within the chassis is done by traditional means. As you can see, the opening for the PCIe power cables nicely lines up with the plugs on the graphics card, and there is plenty of space for a thin radiator in the front without creating any interference.

To mount an SSD, use the four rubber-ring-equipped screws to attach your drive. You may then place it on the motherboard tray towards the front of the chassis. This is a good place to show the SSD off to those taking a peek inside through the glass side panel.

Adding a 3.5" drive is a bit more complicated than it could be as Genesis requires you to remove the cage from the chassis before using classic screws to secure the drive. A tray system would have been nice, and many other brands in this price segment offer such an assembly method. Once the cage is filled, you have to screw it back onto the floor of the Irid 353 ARGB.

Installing the PSU is straightforward as well, as you simply slide it in underneath the metal shroud before using four screws to pin it in place. There is plenty of room for it, so there should be no issues even if your power supply of choice is a bit longer.

With everything in place, the interior looks sufficiently clean because of the openings with rubber grommets; as you can see, the PCIe GPU cables are routed up straight through these. In the rear are plenty of hooks to attach zip ties, so with a bit of creativity and patience, that initial cable mess can be tackled successfully as well.

Finished Looks

Once turned on, the three pre-installed fans light up at the center, as their ARGB LEDs are embedded in each fan hub, with a secondary LED ring around the edges. A blue power LED in the top of the case also let's you know that your system is up and running.

Due to the tint across the front of the chassis, the colorful glow of the fans is quite muted, but you can see some of it regardless. Looking through the glass side panel, things are much clearer, including the ARGB elements of the rear fan and those of the hardware components. In the rear, everything is where you would expect for a chassis of this format.

As there is an LED toggle button on top of the chassis, you may toggle through the usual set of solid colors along with plenty of animations and multi-color configurations to suit your mood or general setup. You may feast your eyes on the solid color choices below.
