Initial impressions of the BIOS are quite good. As with all reviews, the BIOS is updated to the newest version available currently (F2c). Upon entering the BIOS the first time you will be greeted with the Easy Mode menu. This menu is designed for casual users, who do not want to dive deep into the BIOS settings. Here you can set the memory profile, drive boot priority and adjust the fans. Once you press F2 you will enter the main Advanced BIOS. Here we can see the return of the Favorites Menu, which is great for those who are constantly in the BIOS making similar changes. This menu allows you to add commonly used functions into one place without having to dig through all the sub menus each time.

Over at the Tweakers tab is where all the CPU and memory related settings are found. If your at all familiar with AMD Gigabyte AORUS motherboards, you'll feel right at home, since many of the previous CPU functions are present in the new series as well. Usually a majority of these settings will be left on AUTO, but say for instance you need to disable ReSize Bar support, it can be done here. Gigabyte has included many functions as they are useful for troubleshooting and are often left out of the mid-range or budget motherboards. Things like Load-Line Calibration and disabling Spread Spectrum can be set, as well as many other functions related to CPU overclocking. The only major fault found so far is that a few of the voltage rails have safeties in place to prevent you from applying too much voltage. This is related to the memory controller, CPU and SOC voltage as well as some miscellaneous voltages. It is still enough for most PC enthusiasts, but certainly not enough if you are looking to use exotic cooling with extreme overclocking.

Overall, Gigabyte has included everything in the B650E AORUS Master BIOS that could be used for every type of user besides extreme overclockers. Good job Gigabyte!
