The fan-speed profile is aggressive, probably as a safety precaution, as Gigabyte offers a ten-year warranty despite using Lelon caps.



Noise and Fan Speed (~30 °C)

The PSU's fan does not spin at average temperatures and with up to 260 W load. Above 260 W loads, the PSU emits 30–35 dBA, and with above 750 W, it surpasses the 40 dBA mark. Even the 45 dBA barrier is broken, at more than 900 W. This is not a quiet PSU.
