The Gigabyte Z690 AORUS Master features a direct 20-phase VRM configuration without doublers or teaming of the power stages.


Gigabyte is using a Renesas RAA229131 PWM controller to drive the Gigabyte Z690 AORUS Master.


The Gigabyte Z690 AORUS Master uses Renesas 22010540 power stages for the nineteen Vcore phases. These power stages each support a maximum of 105 A of continuous current. For the VCCGT (iGPU) phase, Gigabyte is using a single Intersil 99390 power stage rated for 90 A.

The Gigabyte Z690 AORUS Master has a maximum output of 2,085 A, with 1,995 A dedicated to Vcore.


The CPU VCCAUX is driven by a Monolithic Power Systems M2940A PWM using two MP87992 70 A power stages.
