The new HighSpeed PC 'Top Deck' Tech Station builds on the design and quality of the original Tech Station but reverses the placement of the trays. This removes the space restriction of mainboards, coolers and graphic cards of the original offering. Having access to the mainboard right on top also makes testing parts much easier and exchanging these pieces a lot quicker. If you find yourself testing a lot of different parts all the time, the HighSpeed PC 'Top Deck' Tech Station is perfect for you.
In case the $140 exceed your budget or you will never find yourself testing an eATX mainboard, the standard size Tech Station should be considered which costs just under $80 US Dollars and can hold a full size ATX board as well. Having such a shelf also provides great airflow and can hold about anything, even a full-blown watercooling system.
While it may be pretty sweet to show off all your hardware at a public event like a LAN party, the Tech Station may not be something for transportation, as none of the drives are secured. The same goes for everyone who rarely take apart their system. A normal case with a window would be the much better choice in those cases.
