HK Gaming Mira-S Review

Shape

The shape of the Mira-S is somewhat curious. Its profile is no doubt that of a small mouse. At the same time, the massive hump and general bulkiness of the mouse body makes it fill the hand more than many other medium-sized mice. In a sense, the Mira-S is a small mouse for people with large hands. The design is pretty straightforward: the hump is centered and organically slopes down towards the front and back. The sides are curved inwards horizontally, but neither the front nor the back flare out to any significant degree; a highly streamlined design without any aggressive curves to speak of. In fact, the Mira-S kind of reminds me of a Glorious Model O- that has been pumped up in the middle. In any case, it's a rather unique and original shape that works well in practice. As an aside, the sides too have received the honeycomb treatment, but the holes are small enough to provide additional grip instead of being annoying. If so desired, included side grips can be used to cover up the holes on the sides.

As for grip styles, I'd say the Mira-S is best for palm and claw grip, as the massive hump may interfere with fingertip grip. It's a small-sized mouse with a massively pronounced hump, which should make it suitable for most hand sizes. For reference, my hands are 19 cm long and 10 cm wide, and I found the Mira-S very comfortable in claw grip.
