Installation

To install the ID-Cooling FROZN A620 PRO SE on AMD's AM4 / AM5 socket you will first need to remove the stock AMD mounting clips on the motherboard. Then insert and tighten the screw pillars to the AMD motherboard's backplate. Now slide the brackets over the pillars and secure them via the included thumb nuts.

Now apply thermal paste and position the cooler onto the CPU and brackets. Tighten it down by alternating between both screws to provide a more even distribution of pressure. Once the FROZN A620 PRO SE is secure you can then attach the two fans and if you have enough space or want to go overkill you can use the two extra fan clips to attach a third fan.

All that remains is to plug the fans into the Y-splitter and then connect that to the CPU fan header on the motherboard. With that done the cooler is ready to go.

Overall, the mounting hardware is super simple and easy enough to work with, and I found no real issues to speak of on either AMD or Intel systems.
