Packaging

Packaging remains consistent for the brand as they stick with their typical orange and black box. The font displays the IS-60 EVO ARGB in all its colorful glory while also noting its support for motherboard ARGB sync. A quick turn to the left side of the box gives a detailed look at the specifications of the cooler in various languages. Meanwhile, the backside lists the 130-watt TDP along with the supported sockets, which were noted in the table earlier (Intel LGA115x, LGA1200, and AMD AM4 sockets).

The right side of the box has mechanical drawings detailing the dimensions of the cooler for reference. Meanwhile, the top simply has the IS-60 EVO ARGB in white boldly displayed. Other than that, there is not much else to see.

The cooler comes with the fans pre-mounted and safely packed in foam. As for the universal mounting hardware, it is positioned securely in the top foam sheet. While it does make for a nice presentation, when it comes to mounting hardware, I would prefer to see it safely in a small bag. While the photo here looks good, when I picked up the sheet, some of the smaller screws fell out of the foam. Therefore, a small bag containing the smaller bits of hardware would have been nice, just as a precaution.

The IS-60 EVO ARGB's mounting hardware is extremely simplistic, and while that is a good thing, I am shocked no backplate is needed. The bolt-through method is fine, but considering the cooler's 650 g weight, I would be a bit more comfortable with a backplate even if out of plastic. However, that would also increase the complexity of installation slightly.

Common parts supplied for mounting include:
  • 8x Fan screws
  • 4x Mounting bolts
  • 4x Mounting bracket screws
  • 2x AMD brackets
  • 2x Intel brackets
  • 1x 120 mm ARGB fan
  • 1x 92 mm fan
  • 1x Tube of thermal paste
  • 1x Heatsink
  • 1x Installation manual
