Like previous cooling products, ID-Cooling has stuck with an orange and black box, with the front showing off the SE 234 ARGB in all its ARGB glory. Support for various motherboard sync solutions is noted on the front as well. Turning to the left side, a few features are listed, including the silent operation, universal mounting system, and black heatsink coating. Another turn of the box and we find the specifications for the cooler consisting of size, weight, and fan RPM, among others.
The right side of the box details the TDP rating of the SE 234 ARGB, which is 200 watts, along with the support CPU sockets. As for the top, it just has the product name and once again lists support for motherboard lighting sync control solutions from various manufacturers.

Once again, ID-Cooling delivers a more premium packaging by going with foam over plastic or cardboard. As I like to remind people, I have far better luck when manufacturers use foam inserts, especially when my local delivery guys like to use my samples as soccer balls (at least it seems that way). Also, while it is not something that determines a cooler's worth, it is still worth noting when a manufacturer does offer more than the minimum expected in regards to packaging. As such, ID-Cooling gets a grateful nod from me.
The mounting hardware is straightforward because of the universal design, and being a metal construction, it feels exceptionally solid. Extra fan clips are included as well, giving users the option of adding a second fan if they wish. What is missing, however, is any kind of ARGB extension cable. I see this time and time again—not all motherboards have these headers in easy to reach locations, so an extension cable would be appreciated. Hopefully, my ranting about that enough times will result in changes down the road.
