Efficiency is Gold and the max operating temperature is unfortunately restricted to 40°C, while the ATX spec recommends 50°C. We will, nevertheless, test the PSU in a much higher than 40°C ambient and see how it goes. It is, after all, equipped with Over Temperature Protection (OTP) which will shut it down to prevent damage should anything go wrong. Unique protection features, aside from the standard ones, also includes Brown-Out Protection (BOP) which protects against short voltage drops on the AC supply side.
The cooling fan uses double-ball bearings for prolonged lifetime, compared to sleeved bearings, and the warranty is set to three years, while the price of the unit is fair for its category and the features it provides.

There is only one +12V rail, so you won't have to worry about the "how" once it comes to connecting the power connectors with your system's components. The +12V rail can deliver almost the full power of the unit since the PSU exploits DC-DC converters for the generation of the minor rails, something pretty convenient. The max combined output of the minor rails is restricted to 100 W, which is more than enough for a modern system. The 5VSB rail is a little stronger than the average and can deliver up to 3 A.

All cables are pretty long and the distance among all connectors is enough to allow for trouble-free cable management and installation. Available connectors suffice for a gaming system since both EPS connectors, along with the four PCIe ones, are available at the same time. We would, however, like the PSU to have two additional PCIe connectors in order to support a third VGA, if needed.
The SATA connectors are plenty and will allow you to install a ton of SSDs and HDDs. The peripheral connectors will be enough for most users as well, but we would feel more comfortable with two or three more.
The main ATX cable uses thicker 16AWG wires while the rest use the standard 18AWG; the minimum recommended according to ATX spec.
We do not have anything to comment on about this PSU's power distribution since it features a single +12 V rail.
