ATI Xpress 200

Harddisk:Seagate 7200.9 500GB

The harddrives in the PC-30A mount in each cage by using four rubber grommets that guide the drive into the cage and support them preventing vibration and noise. The optical drives mount above the harddrives in each cage. These cages can be installed before or after the mainboard is installed.

Once the drives are mounted in the cages I installed the mainboard and connected the front panel headers as well as the front audio and USB headers. There was plenty of space for installing components inside the case. You must remove the cross bar to install the board seeing as the screws for the board are right beneath the cross bar. The power supply mounts on its side and draws air through the case, if it has a bottom fan it will draw air from outside the case through the side panel for cooling. There is plenty of space inside to route wires.

The PC-30A has removable drive covers that attach to your optical drives with the supplied double sided tape and give the front a sleek and clean look. The installation is easy just install the drive loosely with one thumb screw and adjust it so the buttons hits correctly then attach the bezel.

The finished product on top of my 57" Toshiba running Media Center 2006.
