Shape

Whereas the original Zephyr introduced a rather novel shape, the Zephyr Pro presents itself as a little more ordinary in this regard. Essentially, the Zephyr Pro is a Glorious Model O with the more rounded and taller hump of a Logitech G Pro Wireless. Though a bit smaller than the Model O, the fuller hump fills the palm more than the Model O does, so it may actually end up feeling slightly bigger in hand depending on one's grip style. Much like on the Model O, the main buttons feature somewhat deep comfort grooves. The hole pattern extends to the bottom, top, sides, and part of the main buttons, although the sides are only covered partially. They stop just below the back side button, which is a bit of an odd choice. With most people's hands, at least part of the thumb will rest on a hole, the pinky may sit fully on a hole-covered area, whereas the ring finger likely is placed on the solid part of the right side. The picture above shows how there is just a single triangle below the back button, which easily could have been removed. The holes themselves are rather big and weirdly shaped, comprised of scalene triangles for the most part, but not exclusively. That having been said, I didn't find them irritating during use.

As for grip styles, I'd say the Zephyr Pro is generally suited for all three main grip styles; i.e., palm, claw, and fingertip grip. It's a medium to large mouse with a moderately pronounced hump, which should make it suitable for most hand sizes. For reference, my hands are 19 cm long and 10 cm wide, and I found the Zephyr Pro very comfortable in claw grip.

Dimensions

This table includes the dimensions of the Marsback Zephyr Pro and several other ambidextrous mice. "Front height" denotes the distance between the base and main buttons. Measurements with two decimals have been taken with a caliper, while those with one decimal have been taken with a ruler.
