Packaging and Contents
MSI's new Core Frozr L comes in a box that measures roughly 18.5 cm in length, 10.8 cm in width, and 24.7 cm in height. On top, we simply find the product's name along with the MSI Gaming Series logo. On front is a large picture of the cooler and a list of a few of the cooler's features, such as the LED shield, TORX fan, and its easy-to-install nature. The left side details the cooler's specifications.
You will find a quick list of features as well as a few diagrams of the cooler's height, width, and length on the back of the box. The right side simply has a side shot of the cooler that details its total height.

Opening the box, I was first greeted by the mounting hardware in a smaller box. Underneath it was the heatsink and fan, inside a plastic insert. Not exactly the greatest of packaging materials. The mounting hardware is nicely packaged, but I expected a bit more in terms of protection for the cooler.
MSI's mounting hardware for the Core Frozr L is very similar to the mounting hardware used by Thermalright, which is a good thing as that means it's easy to work with and does the job well.
