Finished Looks

While the MSI Core Frozr L won't "wow" you with its size or number of fans, it does look quite sharp. Considering I utilize an MSI motherboard in my test rig, this new cooler looks right at home. Its black top plate makes it a perfect match.


The cooler has a maximum height of 155mm. As such, it should fit into a large number of cases, which is good since I can see it being popular because it is a perfect fit for those who like MSI's Gaming Series graphics cards and motherboards.


Clearance for graphics cards is perfect. Users should have no issues with ATX, Micro ATX, or Mini ITX systems. That said, memory clearance is another story as two DIMMs of any height are a-ok. If you want to make use of four DIMMs, there is the fan that looms over one slot to consider. Standard-height memory will fit just fine, though, so stay away from the fancy Dominator Platinums and stick to something a bit less flashy if you plan to utilize four DIMMs.
