Packaging and Contents

The front of the MSI Z490 Godlike box features a black backdrop with a shot of the board on the right side. "MEG Z490 Godlike" features in the bottom left, with Intel badges in the top right. The MSI logo is in the top left. Opening up the front panel reveals some of the key standout features for the MSI MEG Z490 Godlike.


The back of the box has all the highlights: a top-down shot of the board, several panels detailing prominent features, a diagram outlining the rear I/O, and the specifications list. The box design is well executed and a good fit for the board.


The accessories are quite generous. MSI has included nice black and red sleeved cables, a variety of RGB extensions, a pair of Thermistors, and of course the M.2 Xpander-Z Gen4 card.


Notably absent is any kind of rear I/O shield because the shield is integrated into the board.
