Introduction

I would like to thank MSI for supplying the review sample.

MSI has quite a few different flavors of the MPG Gungnir line, with the model numbers 110 and 111, each with its own variations. Now, MSI is expanding that line with the MPG Gungnir 120R, which we are reviewing in this article. This chassis utilizes the same body as the previous enclosures of this family but tweaks the front design for sturdiness alongside some air flow, and includes several functional changes with different fans and 2.5" hard drive mounting system.

The MSI MPG Gungnir 120R ships in a plain brown cardboard box with the same outlined image of the case on the larger panels. On the sides, you will find some marketing bulletin points and a list of specifications.

Two thick Styrofoam spacers hold the chassis in place, while a plastic bag protects it from fingerprints and scratches.
