The upper shell is treated with a semi-matte surface coating, a type I really fancy. It collects no fingerprints and tends to provide enough grip for most users, depending on their skin type. The scroll wheel is made out of textured rubber, and the button behind it has a glossy finish.

The sides are matte and grainy and collect no fingerprints, either. Both side buttons are glossy.

Build Quality

I expected a few quirks at this price point, but the GM11 has absolutely no build quality errors. It's solid, doesn't rattle or creak, and is generally very well put together, both internally and externally.

Weight

The mouse weighs approximately 90 grams with a few centimeters of cable, which is fair for its size, and while a matter of personal preference, it could be a tad lighter for my taste. The GM11 is also well-balanced—nor rear or back-heavy. There is no built-in weight, either.
