MSI includes a fair amount of stuff here, with a couple of extras you might not have seen before. The flexible SLI bridges are not my favorite, but they will definitely get the job done. Enough SATA cables to fill each port is something I personally expect out of a board's accessories at this level, and there were enough, including a bunch of other extras. A full list of what I found is below:
  • User's manual
  • 2 x Quick set-up guide
  • 1 x I/O shield
  • 10 x SATA 6 Gb/s cables
  • 1 x SATA cable label sets
  • 2 x SLI bridges
  • 1 x Audio power plug
  • 1 x Front panel Quick Connect kit
  • 1 x MSI GAMING case badge
  • 1 x MSI door hanger
  • 1 x Driver disc

The bundled case badge and door hanger are now-standard items for nearly all MSI GAMING motherboard products (but not their VGAs), and several previously-released products I covered on these pages have come with them as well.

There are also enough labels for all SATA cables, so you know which cable goes where, a set of pin blocks to make case wiring easier, and a leaflet which covers other gaming-oriented goodies MSI makes, showcasing their focus and commitment to the competitive gaming arena nicely.

The rear I/O cover has the now-normal black and red esthetic, with those clearly written labels I'm used to from MSI. There is a bundled MOLEX-based power cable you can plug into the board's audio section to increase the available power when it comes to pushing higher-impedance headphones or other high-end audio gear, although I think few gamers other than those with the deepest pockets will have such gear in the first place. The usual pre-testing sheet stuffed into the box by MSI's MTC Lab was also included, providing a way for me to judge performance all on its own; however, my own testing gear is a bit different, so it proved almost useless, although it shows that MSI had the board tested to ensure it works properly before shipping it on its way.
