Pushing For Speed
With testing out of the way, I endeavored to see if these sticks had any headroom. In order to qualify as a successful overclock, the sticks must pass three loops of MemTest64 with no errors. As always, overclocking, especially with memory, is highly variable from system to system.
These sticks aren't going to be winning any competitions, reaching just 3400 MHz. Boosting memory voltage to 1.4 V yielded the same result, as did bumping VCSA and VCIO to 1.3 V. Given the price, poor overclocking headroom can be forgiven.
