At Computex 2016, I had the chance to spend some time at noblechairs' booth to try out some of their chairs. The first impression was really good, and to be frank, I was looking forward to checking out one of their chairs in detail within my own four walls. Since I spend more hours than I would like in my office/lab, I greatly appreciate a good chair. I don't hesitate when it comes to investing a large sum into one since I value my comfort and health above all, and an optimally designed chair can help prevent back problems (though it isn't enough on its own since you also have to hit the gym from time to time). It is nice to see a company offer a real leather gaming chair. So far, those chairs are mostly meant for business executives.
The lavishness that EPIC real leather chairs exude is beyond dispute. Having such a nice chair in your working or gaming space feels good and provides you with the ability to work (or play games) for many hours on end without feeling any discomfort. The real leather and the small, but crucial details play a key role in making the EPIC series chairs some of the best chairs currently available for office use. The only downside I could find is that it isn't designed for overweight users because of its 120 kg limit and comparatively slim seating area. noblechairs should also treat this chair's highly usable sidearms with a leather coating. It is a great shame to have every other bit feature such nice leather only to have the armrests made out of PU, which, while of good quality, still look cheap compared to the rest of the chair.
If you don't like the brown color of our sample, there are three other models with different colors or color combinations to choose from; there's black, black/white, and black/white/red. All of them cost exactly the same, so it is up to you to pick the one that suits your tastes best. In any case, if you are lucky enough to have enough money to buy an EPIC series chair, I believe it will be money well spent. I have made the mistake of using cheap low quality chairs in the past and now fully regret doing so. Better save some money up and invest it into things like a good chair, PSU, keyboard, mouse, monitor, etc. rather than a powerful CPU or GPU. The only problem I have right now is that I have a really hard time in deciding whether I will keep my Ergohuman or replace it with a noblechairs' offering, which, while also comfortable, just looks better.
