Hydraulics, Five-Star Base & the Caster Wheels

A class 4 metal hydraulic gas lift is responsible for the chair's height adjustments. This particular gas lift is designed to withstand a weight of over 150 kg (330.7 lb). The hydraulics sleeve seems rather thin but of good quality.


The five-star base is powder-coated and consists of solid aluminum, and the 60 mm casters have nylon cores and a polyurethane coating.


We have encountered these caster wheels in previous noblechairs models; they are soft and quiet and roll on wooden floors as well as on medium carpets. However, if the chair is used on a wooden floor, a plastic protective mat is advisable.
