Value and Conclusion

  • The NZXT HUSH sells for $89.99 US Dollars or 79.90€ in black or silver.
  • Noise reducing dampening foam works extremely well
  • Well build front
  • Tool-less system works well
  • Two 120 mm fans included
  • Awesome looks and well placed lighting
  • Flawless glossy paint job
  • Not all screwless devices were included
  • Some parts made of steel especially the back PCI bracket area bends very easily
  • While they fit, large graphic cards will still obstruct at least two hard drives
  • No removable motherboard tray
The NZXT HUSH is a very nice looking case. The "piano finish" black and the front with a aluminum cover along with the clean and straight lines makes this a very modern chassis. Another highlight of this case is the screwless system implemented, as it works quite well and is very easy to use. Some manufacturers exclude these for floppy drives, which is not the case with the HUSH. The missing parts on one side of the case were a large disappointment nonetheless. NZXT calls this case HUSH on purpose, as it comes with sound dampening foam on all possible surfaces, even the drive covers. This makes a real difference and is not just a marketing gimmick. Such material is not cheap, so a price tag of nearly 90 US Dollars is quite justified for such a case. The very simple no frills interior is the only aspect of this case, as the same interior without the screwless addition can be found in many other case. But exactly this aspect makes installation a very simple and easy process. You will not find yourself looking at the manual every five minutes during assembly of the HUSH.
