Palit's cooler uses four heatpipes, combined with two slow running LED-lit fans to keep the card cool.
The card requires two 6-pin PCI-Express power cables connected. This power configuration is good for up to 225 W of power draw.
The voltage regulator used by Palit is an NCP5395, an older model which we have seem on custom GeForce GTX 200 cards before. It does the job fine, offering software voltage control via NVIDIA NVAPI.
The GDDR5 memory chips are made by Hynix, and carry the model number H5GQ1H24BFR-T2C. They are specified to run at 1250 MHz (5000 MHz GDDR5 effective).
NVIDIA's GF114 graphics processor is made on a 40 nm process at TSMC Taiwan. It uses the same architecture as NVIDIA's GF104 but with improvements on the transistor level to reduce power consumption.
