Overall the Orochi surprised me in a pleasant way. The ergonomics are good even though the mouse is quite small. Both when in a wired or wireless scenario this mouse performs better than I expected yielding precision and speed that is comparable to normal sized gaming mice. For longer gaming sessions I would still prefer a normal sized mouse because your hands are forced to hold this mini mouse in a certain manner, however, if you are the type of gamer and only use your fingertips to maneuver the mouse around I doubt you will have any discomfort when using the Orochi.

  • The Kabuto sells for around $20.
  • Small
  • Extremely thin 1.2 mm
  • Great design
  • Subtle graphics
  • Small size
  • Low weight
  • Thin ergo a rough surface will be feelable through the mat
If you absolutely have to have an extremely thin mat that is about average size the Kabuto will serve your purpose. If you like me pick your mats based on their performance the Kabuto will fall short of almost any comparable mat. You will basically get better performance from just about any thicker, and heavier mat. The Kabuto size is both its force and fail. Due to the weight the mat tends to slip around on a normal desk while gaming making it annoying to game on. There is nothing wrong with the surface of the mat since it is basically the same as that featured on the more recent Razer soft mats.
