Reeven Ouranos Review

A Closer Look

The single-tower design consists of fifty-five aluminum fins and a top plate. No weird fin shapes or alternating thicknesses to be found, the Reeven Ouranos is just a big chunk of metal.

The build quality is rather solid, with the top plate keeping things classy. That said, you wont find a whole lot to get excited about either.

Reeven is prominently displayed as a cutout on the top plate, along with a few other minor design elements to keep the cooler from being totally plain. Meanwhile, the heatpipes are of two different sizes. Two Ø8 mm heatpipes are in the middle and two sets of two Ø6 mm heatpipes are on each side. The heatpipes are fed heat from the solid nickel-plated copper base. The base itself is smooth and has a more matte than mirror finish. While machining marks are visible, they are not as noticeable to the touch.

Reeven paired the Ouranos with a 140 mm x 140 mm x 25 mm PWM fan. It has an RPM range of 300-1700 you can limit to 1300 with the included speed-switch adapter. The fan also features a typical sleeve bearing and has the model number RM1425S17B-P.
