The Rosewill RK-9300 is in a heavily competitive market segment with a lot of keyboards fighting for your money in the sub-$100 price range. It is fascinating to see keyboards that would have cost $135-150 a few years ago now being classified as budget. This is not to say the RK-9300 is a budget keyboard, however.
Be it the aluminum frame that keeps things light and still sturdy, the doubleshot ABS keycaps that promise a long lifespan, or the "standard" keycap layout allowing for the easy customization using aftermarket keycaps, this has a lot to offer to anyone looking for a solid keyboard at a solid price, especially with genuine Cherry MX switches used instead of some clones with potentially worse quality control. I would say that the backlighting and cable-routing options are just there to sweeten the deal.
That is not to say everything is rosy here. For a product being marketed at gamers, there are no options of linear switches and no macro functionality. There are competing products from yesteryear at this price point that offer those, although you may not get the aluminum plate if that is a factor in your decision making.
There are some things that go either way, such as the keycap wall thickness and the cable being non-detachable. But overall, I believe the RK-9300 does offer good value for your money, and I do recommend it to people accordingly.
