The chassis looks pretty clean with its slanted sides and fairly large air vents to allow for any front fans to pull fresh air into the case. SilentiumPC has applied a brush finish on the plastic front for added texture, and there are two 5.25" drive bays as well.

Looking straight at the front, it becomes apparent that it is completely symmetrical with the I/O on top of the chassis. You may pry the whole panel off to reveal two pre-installed 120 mm intake fans you could upgrade to two 140 mm units if you wish. In the rear, the configuration of the AR7 is pretty classic, with the PSU bay on the bottom.

The main side panel of the Armis AR7 is made out of glass and utilizes four thumb screws to secure it in place. Looking at the opposite side, you will find a solid steel panel with two thumb screws in traditional rear-mounting locations.

Taking a closer look at the front of the Armis AR7, the top I/O consists of a power and reset button, 3-stage sliding fan controller, and the usual audio plugs next to a pair of USB 3.0 ports. On the bottom, you will find very subtle SilentiumPC branding, which is also meant to keep possible system integrators who want to push their own branding happy. SilentiumPC even allows you to switch the positions for the I/O panel and logo.

In the rear is a third 120 mm fan in the very top. It is set to push hot air out the back and equipped with RGB LEDs. Thanks to the elongated mounting holes, you may slide the unit vertically to perfectly line it up with any internal cooling components for your CPU. You may also upgrade this fan to a 140 mm unit if you like. Below that are the 8 + 2 expansion slots. Each of these is protected by a reusable metal mesh cover that is held in place with thumb screws. The PSU bay on the very bottom has two sets of mounting holes, so you may choose which way to install the unit.

In the top, you will find a large magnetic, metal-mesh dust filter. Underneath it are mounting possibilities for three 120 or 140 mm fans, but you are also welcome to install a radiator of up to 420 mm in size here if you like.
