A Closer Look

The heatsink is comprised of forty-two aluminium fins that receive heat via four Ø6 mm heat pipes. It is of a traditional tower-style design that tops out at 135 mm tall because of the compact design, which makes it a good option for systems where space is a bit limited.

When it comes to the heatsink itself, the fins are straight with no indents or cutouts for increased air turbulence, which makes the cooler simple and cost effective.

Rather than going with a plain top plate, SilentiumPC added a black top with the SilentiumPC logo dead center for a stealthier appearance. In regards to the base, it is comprised of an aluminium block and four heat pipes that make direct contact with the processor. Meanwhile, a universal mount that works with AMD and Intel mainstream sockets has been pre-installed. It's certainly quite different from any other mounting hardware I have seen.

SilentiumPC includes a single Sigma Pro RGB 100 mm fan that pushes up to 55.7 CFM while having an RPM range of 800–2000. The blades and hub are a milky white color for better diffusion of the RGB LEDs. As for the RGB LEDs themselves, they are of the 12 V variety and work via a separate controller or through the motherboard software.
