Packaging

The SilverStone Alta F1 ships in a full-color cardboard box with images of both color variants on the larger sides. The box lists the enclosure's major unique selling points on one side and a table of specifications on the other. There are carrying holes for easier transportation, which is useful since the Alta F1 is rather heavy.


Thick, cardboard-reinforced spacers hold the chassis in place, while a plastic bag keeps fingerprints and light scratches away.

For a premium enclosure, you get a very basic set of screws, warranty information, and a few zip ties. That is the same barebones approach you will see in sub-$100 mainstream enclosures. As such, the inclusion of Velcro cable ties or a 3-fan splitter cable would have been nice.
