Silverstone always aims to deliver cases that are not run-of-the-mill. The same holds true for the Precision PS08. The case is quite compact, but can still hold large graphics cards of up to 14.1" in length. When looking at it from a mATX-chassis standpoint, the PS08 is a great choice, since it has loads of space for such a small case and comes with a comparatively low price tag. The hunt for the most affordable case does have its drawbacks though as the chassis I/O cannot be used with USB 2.0-based boards and the motherboard expansion slot covers are of the break-out variety, nor is the minimalistic design of the motherboard tray, in my humble opinion, a step in the right direction, even if it reduces the overall weight and keeps the price low. Refreshingly enough though, Silverstone has refrained from offering inadequate screw-less systems for their drive bays, and all the screws you may need to fill the case to the rim have been included.

Sure, a mid-tower chassis costs just as much and may give you more space to work with, but if you are looking for a mATX mini-tower chassis, especially while on a budget, the Precision PS08 is worth a long, hard look.
