Surface

The main grip areas are coated with a soft, extremely smooth, but rather grippy matte material. It is very stylish looking and has a dark, deep gray color. The only downside to the coating I could find is that it collects fingerprints rather easily; however, I think this can be forgiven once you hold it in your hands—the touch is very pleasant. I have no information about its durability, but it doesn't seem like a cheap rubberization that will start peeling off within a few months.

The other parts of the shell have a glossier coating with a very subtle blueish accent, which looks absolutely great as well. The underside and very front have a grainier, more textured coating in the same color as the main grip areas.

Build Quality

After a long session of trying to nitpick on the build quality, I have only found one thing that bothered me a tiny bit. The main buttons can wiggle around a little (roughly by 1 mm each, or less), and this causes a very slight rattling noise if I shake the mouse very hard. Other than this, there is nothing; not a single creaking noise, nothing is misaligned, and everything is nice and tight. This is a rare thing in simple mice too, and this one has detachable side panels and a lot of parts in general. I am very impressed with the overall build quality.

Weight

The mouse weighs about 96 grams (3.39 oz) by default with a few centimeters of cable. It is quite perfect for a mouse of this size, and even though I still prefer lighter ones, this one feels great in the hand, and very well balanced as well. You can add 32 grams (1.13 oz) of extra weight as there are eight individual 4 gram metal cuboids that can be inserted into each side of the mouse after detaching the side panels.
