Gaming Performance

For triple AAA games, laptops and gaming systems are tested at Ultra settings typically the same as in TechPowerUp's GPU reviews to give users an idea of what they can expect out of a gaming laptop or desktop in comparison to their standard desktop PC at home. Currently, the only major difference is that system reviews are tested with NVIDIA Hairworks enabled in the Witcher 3. Otherwise, settings are the same between these system reviews and graphics card reviews.

For the free-to-play market and MOBA-style games, we test utilizing Dota 2, which is run at its maximum in-game settings.
