The UFO Acrylic Cube case from Sunbeam has a lot of unique features for a clear plastic case. The cube design is unlike other clear cases I've seen, and its compact size makes it great for smaller systems or users with space restrictions. Assembly was easy and straight forward, and the holes in the motherboard tray made cable routing very manageable. The side access panel for the drives was a welcome addition that removed the need for major disassembly just to add or remove a drive. By adding two quiet 120mm fans and grills to the kit, Sunbeam made sure this case would stay cool while keeping fingers and other objects out of the fans.

Obviously, this case is not for everybody. Being made of acrylic panels means that it is not ideal for frequent transporting. The case requires an extra amount of care during assembly to make sure it looks its best, especially with cable management. Because this is a smaller case, there is less room for hardware, including drives. Users will be limited to four drives total, and by default that only includes two hard disk drives. Aftermarket parts could be added to increase that number, but only slightly. Cooling can be an issue, too, as large tower heatsinks will definitely not fit. The entire space between the top panel and the motherboard tray is not much more than the included 120mm fans, and the motherboard and standoffs use up some of that space. Make sure to plan out the system carefully, paying attention to the size of parts before buying this case.

If you are looking for a clear acrylic case, but do not need the space of a mid-tower, definitely take a look at the Sunbeam UFO Cube Case. There is a large amount of "WOW-factor" that comes with a case like this, and it is sure to turn some heads.
