Sunrise once again proves that ear buds have potential for portable use. The Dragon 2s will require a decent DAP or dedicated amplifier to sound their best, but you get performance which is incredible considering the bulk and price of the solution once you do. The ear bud's shape is very comfortable and will fit most people; the several different types of foam covers allow you to tailor both sound and fit to your liking. The Dragon 2s are by no means bass monsters, but what they have sounds great. If you are into bass-heavy music, these ear buds are probably not for you. If you, on the other hand, listen to a variety of music that is midrange- and treble-focused, such as classical, jazz, and rock, these could be right up your alley. The midrange is incredibly detailed and captures fast-paced distortion guitar nicely, which is quite a feat.
At the current asking price of $120, these ear buds seem a bit overpriced considering that you can get in-ears that are close in terms of detail and have better bass for roughly the same price, but their form factor, ease of use, and spacious sound make them unique.
