Finished Looks
The black and white color scheme of the Swiftech H240 X3 gives it a nice neutral appearance that should blend in perfectly with most builds. The included dyes from Mayhems allow for complete customization of the coolant color so it matches the RGB LEDs or your particular system theme. While I was not a fan of the Pastel Nanofluid coolant in the Swiftech H360 X3 AIO originally, having used it for sometime now, it has held up well. Taking that into account, at least when it comes to the coolant in its base form, I can say I am impressed as it has not changed color over time and cooling performance is still the same. As such, in its base form, the Swiftech H240 X3 is quite attractive. If you want to change the color, however, you are on your own. I may revisit that aspect at a later date.
Like the majority of all-in-one liquid coolers, Swiftech's H240 X3 AIO offers perfect clearance around the socket. I found no issues with memory or graphics card clearance.
Swiftech's IRIS ALEDs work exceptionally well overall, but some form of software control would be appreciated. While Swiftech is working on an adapter for use with ASUS Aura Sync, it is not available yet. Support for other options has not been announced either, which is a bit depressing since my test bench and personal system both use MSI motherboards. Those wanting a better look at the RGB aspect of the cooler can view the video below.
