RAID Operations

In this scenario, we perform RAID rebuild and sync operations during which we measure the time the NAS needs to complete these tasks, along with the average power consumption for these rebuild and sync periods. In NAS servers with four bays or more, we rebuild and sync RAID 1, RAID 5, and RAID 6 arrays. Two-bay NAS servers are confined to RAID 1 for obvious reasons. The Bitmap option is disabled in NAS servers that support it to produce comparable results since it speeds up RAID rebuild time.
